The first requirement for sharing your photos on Costa Rica Expat and Travel is to register your email address and then login. Your email address is never given out.

Once you have registered on Costa Rica Expat and Travel you can create a profile that lets people know a little about you, your interests and your home page and/or blog. You can also upload an unlimited number of photos to share.

After you have registered, logged in, and created a profile, the Costa Rica Expat and Travel members page (opens in new window) will list your profile(s) and have a link to upload photos (see red arrow). Please note the images here may reflect a different site than you are using, however, the process is the same.

The photo upload page allows you to browse for the .jpg file on your computer to upload. The .jpg will be resized automatically for the Costa Rica Expat and Travel photo gallery and a thumbnail will be created. Please don't upload small images from cellular phone cameras. The minimum resolution should be 640x480.

After you have selected the file, click upload.

After the photo uploads, you'll get a preview of the images (both the thumbnail and the full picture). If there is a problem, you can hit "back" on your browser and select another image to upload.

Below the image preview is a section to enter a title, description and category for the photo. Remember that your photo(s) will be seen by people around the world. Although they say a photo is worth 1,000 words... it's a good idea to include a description so those far away will have an idea about the kind of horse you have, where you are from and what's happening.

The category can be used to help organize your photos, i.e., maybe you want to put your pictures into categories that are relevant to you or would help organize your photos.

Once you click "Submit Photo", your photo and description will be available for everyone to view in the Costa Rica Expat and Travel photo album.

After you submit your photo, you can upload another photo or view the photos in your photo album.
